Coastal Tumblegym was started by Owner and Head Coach John Casey in 1996 to offer gymnastics programs in the Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and South Wilmington / New Hanover County areas. Our goals are to improve and develop athlete's skills through a variety of activities, such as running, jumping, skipping as well as more advanced disciplines of Artistic Gymnastics, Tumbling, Trampoline, and Dance. Our programs also physically and mentally prepares our athletes for all sports. Member gymnasts are taught to control their bodies in a variety of circumstances, on or off the floor, right side up or upside down. Our curriculum enhances the physical attributes of flexibility, muscular stamina, strength, as well as balance, agility, and coordination.
